Nathan Resika

Raised in New York City by a musical family, Bass Nathan Resika sang, acted, and played classical & folk guitar from an early age.  
Since 2005, Nathan’s rising career has seen him performing roles with, among others, the Center for Contemporary Opera, Opera Orchestra of New York, Connecticut Lyric Opera, the Belleayre Music Festival, and Utah Festival Opera.  
In 2007, Mr.Resika will have featured roles in New Rochelle Opera’s Rigoletto, The Pirates of Penzance with New Jersey Opera Theater, New York Grand Opera’s La Traviata in Central Park, as well as the title role in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with Opera in the Heights in Houston, Texas
Mr. Resika’s recent roles include, among others, the Commendatore and Masetto in Don Giovanni, Ramfis in Aida, Sparafucile and Monterone in Rigoletto, Padre Guardiano in La Forza del Destino, Dr.Bartolo in Le Nozze di Figaro, Publio in La Clemenza di Tito, Colline in La Boheme, and Superintendent Budd in Britten’s Albert Herring.
Nathan has performed in concert in Hungary, Greece, throughout the United States, and has sung the national anthem at several sporting events.
 He resides in Manhattan with his wife and infant boy and girl twins.
