David Aviles

David Aviles, a native of Barranquilla, Colombia, has performed several choir solos in many Atlanta area churches including work from A. Ramirez’s Misa Criolla, “Deposuit Potentes” from Bach’s Magnificat, and the tenor solo work from Messiah. In addition to his Oratorio and choir solo work, he has been seen in several Georgia State University Opera productions, most recently as the First Commissioner in Poulenc’s Les Dialogues. Past experiences include Conrad Susa’s chamber opera Transformations as Singer Number 6, scenes from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, and Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, among others.
