Diane Schoff

Diane Schoff recently enjoyed her
second appearance with Milwaukee Opera Theater in “Winter Revenge:
The Valkyries are Calling” having previously performed the role of
Phobia in last spring’s production of “Pizza con Funghe.” Her
most recent operatic roles have included the Prioress in Dialogues of
the Carmelites, Clytemnestre in Gluck’s Iphigenie En Aulide, the
Mother/Witch in Hansel and Gretel, all with Boston Opera
Collaborative, and Dr. Dulcamara and Rusalka with Opera for the
Young. She was a National Semi-Finalist in the Metropolitan Opera’s
National Council Auditions, winning both the Upper Midwest Region and
Eastern Wisconsin District. Diane is an alumna of the San Francisco
Opera’s Merola program, where she performed the roles of Zulma in
L’Italiana in Algeri and Pr. Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus. She is
Managing Diva for the Chicago Chapter of Opera On Tap and enjoys
promoting and participating in Opera outreach of all kinds. Originally
from Wisconsin, she now lives and works in Chicago and is preparing
for the second biggest production of her life, the birth of her
second child.
