Emily Weingarten (bassoon)

Emily Weingarten is a musician, writer, and entrepreneur residing in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She earned Bachelors of Music degrees from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in 2008 in Bassoon Performance and Musicology, graduating with the 2008 Earl V. Moore Award for her achievements during her college career.  Emily is the Chapter Development Specialist for Arts Enterprise, an organization dedicated to supporting emerging leaders who blend entrepreneurial thought and artistic creativity to inspire social growth and sustainable ventures.  Emily also works at Zingerman’s Delicatessen, researches healthy living, and enjoys cooking vegan dinners for friends.  You can follow Emily’s research on sustainable living and healthy eating at www.a2create.blogspot.com.
